2. Quotes, Orders & Pricing

a. Quotes

  • All quotes provided by The Steel Building Shop are estimates based on the information you provide.

  • Prices may change depending on design, material availability, location, and project requirements.

b. Pricing

  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Taxes, shipping, engineering fees, and installation charges may apply.

c. Orders

  • An order is considered confirmed once your first payment or written approval is received.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason (inventory, error, or fraud concerns).

3. Product Specifications

  • Steel building designs, drawings, specifications, and features may vary.

  • Minor adjustments may occur due to engineering requirements or code compliance.

  • Customer is responsible for verifying local building codes, permits, and regulations.

4. Payment Terms

  • The price shown on each product page is the full price of the kit with freight included, payable in three stages: 25% when you order, 50% when you approve your stamped drawings, and 25% before your kit ships.

  • All payments must be completed as per that schedule. Payments are made by bank transfer to the account named on your invoice.

  • Failure to make payments may result in order delay or cancellation.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Freight is included in the listed price for delivery to road-accessible sites in the ten provinces.

  • Deliveries to Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, fly-in communities, islands without a fixed link, and any site a loaded highway trailer cannot reach are quoted separately. We confirm that freight amount to you in writing before your order is accepted, and you may cancel at no cost if you do not wish to proceed.

  • Freight is quoted on the delivery address you supply. If that address changes after your order is accepted, freight is re-quoted for the new location.

  • Kits are delivered curbside by flatbed. Offloading equipment, site access suitable for a loaded highway trailer, and someone present to receive and sign for the shipment are your responsibility. Redelivery or demurrage charged by the carrier because a site was not ready is passed on at cost.

  • Estimated shipping dates are provided but not guaranteed.

  • Delays may occur due to weather, transportation, or supplier issues.

  • Customer must provide accurate delivery details and be available at the delivery location.

We are not responsible for delays beyond our control.

6. Installation & Construction

  • The Steel Building Shop may provide materials, but installation may be performed by third-party contractors unless otherwise stated.

  • We are not liable for construction errors, installation issues, or damages caused by third-party contractors.

7. Warranty

  • Warranty details vary depending on materials and manufacturers.

  • Warranty may not cover misuse, poor installation, or modifications.

  • Customer must follow all maintenance and care instructions to keep the warranty valid.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website—including text, images, graphics, logos, and designs—is the property of The Steel Building Shop.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Steel Building Shop is not responsible for:
